These set of 4 paintings by Abdul Ghani Ahmad beautifully depict the calm and picturesque landscapes of paddy fields. His skilful use of soft, transparent layers effectively conveys the serene quality of these environments, reflecting different moods and times of day while offering a glimpse into life in a paddy field setting.

Ahmad views his paintings as a documentation of local heritage, believing they serve as one of the best ways to preserve traditions for future generations. While he is primarily known for his landscape works featuring nature and villages, he has recently explored a different direction, creating a stunning pandemonium of colours while maintaining harmonious unity.
