Description Nizar Kamal Ariffin's painting features a prominent, centrally located tree against a predominantly blue background. The tree's intricate, finely detailed branches spread out in a symmetrical circular pattern, with earthy tones. The artwork boasts a rich texture, with visible brushstrokes and layered applications adding depth and dimension to the composition.

Nizar Kamal Ariffin joined Senika (Pahang Art Society) in 1984 and became a resident artist at Taman Seni Budaya in Pahang. He had his first solo exhibitions in 1985, one in Kuantan and one in Kuala Lumpur. He graduated with a BFA from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1986 and moved to Kuala Lumpur in 1993. He joined the Conlay Art Colony in Kuala Lumpur in 1998. In 1999 and 2000, he received Honorable Mentions in the Philip Morris Asean Art Awards, Malaysia competitions.
