Description
Haron Mokhtar's Warisan Melayu IV is an acrylic painting that meticulously portrays a traditional Malay house. Featuring a steep, gabled roof, green shutters, and a wide staircase leading to the veranda, the house is elevated on stilts, showcasing characteristic Malay architecture. Three women in traditional attire add a human element, emphasizing the cultural and historical significance of the Malay legacy. The composition contrasts warm, earthy ground tones with cooler shades of the house and figures, creating a visually engaging representation of Malay heritage.
